Green Credentials

When converting this beautiful building for use as holiday lets we did not wish to spoil the natural environment.  Much thought has been put into the impact of the project on the surroundings and we have strived to exceed the current build regulation requirements in all aspect of the build.

Key environmental features:

Coated & Argon Filled Double Glazing throughout.
Very high insulation values, (surpassing legislative requirements and very little heating required).
Solid Fuel heating, (wood) sourced from local, ('Nethercott' Farms) sustainable woodland.  This gives effective carbon neutral heating requirement from a renewable source.  Additionally most wood is windfall as opposed to felled trees.
Wherever possible materials sourced locally.
The barn conversion employs multiple Thermal Storage tanks to balance heat supply from Solid Fuel supply characteristics.
N.B. solid fuel stoves are fuelled by ourselves so guests can enjoy and relax while we do the work.
Low energy/Led lighting throughout with automated activation.
Power Saving LED TV’s in all bedrooms.
